Adenovirus System Resources

The adenovirus system is a versatile system and can be used for in vitro gene delivery for basic research, in vivo vaccination (to express foreign antigens), gene therapy (e.g. cancer gene therapy), and recombinant protein production. Recombinant adenoviruses are particularly useful because they can infect a wide variety of cell types, provide strong protein expression, and are easy to scale up in production.

In our collection of free resources, you'll learn the adenovirus structure and biology, variations of the recombinant adenoviral system, amplification protocols in a laboratory setting, advantages and disadvantages of the system, clinical use in gene therapy, and more.
